ABC Proposals Due November 30th

Dear Fellow ACAs,
You are receiving this email because you are listed as a contact person for an ACA Meeting or Intergroup or Region registered with the World Service Organization (WSO).

And now to the direct business at hand . . .

Each year the ACA WSO holds our Annual Business Conference (ABC) and ACA World Convention (AWC) in April. This coming year they will be held April 23-26, 2020 in Boca Raton, Florida.

If your group has an idea that may benefit ACA Worldwide, you can submit it as a proposal for potential inclusion on the agenda at the ABC.  All proposals will become part of a Ballot in January.

The specific process and timing are as follows:
If your group feels it may have a proposal to submit, your first step should be to go to this website page - https://acawso.org/category/ballot-prep/ - to find these documents:   

    “Is it a Proposal or should it go to a Committee” – provides contact Information about WSO Committees.
    “Proposal Guidelines” – provides guidance about what makes a good proposal and it will also help you determine whether your idea should be submitted as a proposal, or if instead it can be submitted to a WSO Committee.
    “Crafting a Proposal” – provides information about how to best create a proposal.

When you’re ready to submit your proposal to be considered for the ABC agenda do the following: 

    Go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2020_ABC
    Fill in the form according to the instructions.
    Submit your Group's proposal by November 30, 2019.

After you have completed these tasks, the following happens:

    Proposals are reviewed by the appropriate committee(s) and trusted servants and, if needed, the intent clarified with the submitting group.
    After a WSO analysis of the proposal has been added, the proposal is added to the Ballot and sent to all registered groups by January 15, 2020.
    Ballots must be returned to WSO no later than March 31, 2020.
    Proposals that receive at least a 60% affirmative vote will then be placed on the agenda for consideration at the 2020 ABC.

TŁUMACZENIE OGŁOSZENIA:

Propozycje na Światową Konferencję DDA można zgłaszać do 30tego listopada 2019

Każdego roku w kwietniu Służby Światowe DDA (WSO) organizują Doroczną Konferencję Biznesową (ABC – Annual Business Conference) oraz Światowy Zlot DDA. W nadchodzącym roku Konferencja i Zlot odbędą się 23-26 kwietnia 2020 w Boca Ratan na Florydzie.

Jeżeli Twoja grupa DDA ma pomysł, który może być korzystny dla wspólnoty DDA na całym świecie, możecie zgłosić swój pomysł aby został włączony do programu dyskusji na konferencji ABC. Wszystkie zgłoszone sugestie będą włączone do ankiety w styczniu.

Cały proces wygląda następująco:
Jeżeli Twoja grupa ma sugestię do zgłoszenia, pierwszym krokiem będzie dla Was wejść na stronę internetową: https://acawso.org/category/ballot-prep/  i tam znaleźć następujące dokumenty:
1. "Czy to jest propozycja na konferencję czy też do pracy którejść z Komisji?' - tutaj znajdziecie informacje kontaktowe do poszczególnych Komisji Służb Światowych
2. 'Wskazówki dotyczące propozycji" – tutaj znajdziecie wskazówki w jaki sposób napisać dobrą propozycję, które pomogą wam również zdecydować czy wasz pomysł powienien być zgłoszony na światową konferencję czy też zamiast tego zgłosozny do pracy w jednej z Komisji Śłużb Światowych
3. 'Zformułowanie propozycji' – tu znajdziecie informacje jak najlepiej sformułować Waszą propozycję.

Kiedy Wasza propozycja będzie gotowa do przesłania, podejmijcie następujące kroki:
1. Wejdźcie na stronę  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2020_ABC
2. Wypełnijcie formularz według instrukcji
3. Prześlijcie propozycję najpóxniej do 20tego listopada 2019
Kiedy to zrobicie:
4. Propozycje są rozpatrywane przez poszczególne Komisje Służb Światowych i jeśli sa niejasności, są one wyjaśniane z grupą któa przesłała porpozycję
5. Po dodaniu komentarza od Służb światowych, propozycje są dodawane do Ankiety, która jest rozsyłana do wszystkich zarejestrowanych grup oraz Intergrup do 15stego stycznia 2020 do przegłosowania
6. Ankiety muszą być odesłane z powrotem do 31szego marca 2020
7. Propozycje, które otrzymają przynajmniej 60% głosów 'za' – będą dołączone do programu i dyskusji na Światowej Konferencji ABC 2020.
